The terminals at Casablanca Airport

Casablanca Mohammed V Airport has two terminals:

  • Terminal 1, with an area of 76,000 square metres, where the train station is, in the basement, with direct access to the concourse.
  • Terminal 2, with an area of 66,000 square metres.
  • The domestic terminal area, of 5,700 square metres.

The airport's own pages publish the plan of each terminal and the flights information, and its call centre and information points are listed in the services.

Getting to and from Casablanca Airport

The airport is connected to the rail network: the train station is in the basement of Terminal 1, with direct access to the concourse, and trains reach Bouskoura, Ennassim, Facultés, L'Oasis, Casa-Voyageurs and Casa-Port without a change. The trains leaving the airport run from 06:50 to 22:50, and the journey to Casa-Voyageurs is around 30 minutes.

By road, the airport is 27 kilometres southwest of the centre of Casablanca, in the commune of Nouaceur, and it is connected to the freeways that link it to Bouskoura, Marrakech, Rabat and Tangier. The airport asks you to allow between 30 and 50 minutes for the trip, depending on the traffic. The taxis are easy to spot by their signboards and their numbers, and they wait at the Arrival esplanade, on duty 24 hours a day.

What happens when you arrive at CMN

Keep your passport and any form you filled in on the plane with you the whole way, from the aircraft door to the exit.

The arrivals hall has three areas: one for the passengers with Moroccan passports, one for the passengers with foreign passports and one for the Fast Track service, and the airport works around the clock so that you pass through the emigration area in less than 30 minutes. In the baggage reclaim area, find your flight on the notice board, and if a bag is lost or damaged, go to the airline's baggage claim service in the same area.

Casablanca Airport with children

The airport's own services list a page on travelling with family, together with the medical assistance, the information points and the Wi-Fi, so you can see what the airport offers before you land.

Leave the passports and the children's documents in your carry-on bag, not in the checked luggage, so you have them at the emigration area. And the airport's own advice on the arrival page is to check the tag of every bag, because the colour or the brand can confuse the reclaim.

Plan your stop at Casablanca Airport

The airport's own page before the flight asks you to find out the access conditions to Moroccan territory, so that you prepare the travel documents your family needs. And check with the embassy or consulate about the entry rules of every country on your route.
