The terminals at Sydney Airport

- T1 is the international terminal, and it opens at 02:30.
- T2 is a domestic terminal, and it opens at 04:00.

Getting to and from Sydney Airport
The Airport Link train is the fastest way into the city: the International station is on the arrivals level of T1, past Arrivals Hall A, and the Domestic station serves T2 and T3. The buses and the taxi serve the airport as well, and the taxi ranks are in front of every terminal. You can pay with a card or with a contactless card at the station.
What happens when you arrive at SYD
Keep your passport and any form you filled in on the plane with you the whole way, from the aircraft door to the exit, and check the terminal on your ticket before you travel.
Sydney Airport with children
The domestic station serves both T2 and T3, so a family does not have to cross the airport between the train and the domestic terminal. The taxi ranks are in front of each terminal, and it is worth keeping a snack and water within reach for the walk.
Plan your stop at Sydney Airport
Terminals, airlines and arrival procedures change, so check with the airline and the airport's own site before you travel. And check with the embassy or consulate about the documents your family needs for the entry rules of every country on your route.
